Dear candidate,
Successive governments have continued to fail our local environment.
The time for action to restore biodiversity and protect our wilderness is now. Tomorrow will not be here if we sit back.
I call on you, as my candidate, to make the environment, and our future your priority.
For too long, the environment has been at the bottom of government's list of priorities. This must change.
We have seen the end of Recycling Victoria, Sustainability Victoria, the Marine and Coastal Council, and the gutting of Parks Victoria's fisheries compliance program.
With our natural spaces and biodiversity in severe decline, we need more programs, not less.
